  • Physical Demand Assessments (PDA’s) are also called Job Task Analyses (JTA’s).
  • An objective, measurable, and quantitative analysis of essential and non-essential physical demands of a specific job and/or job task.
  • Documents key physical demands including lifting, lowering, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, walking, standing, sitting, grasping, climbing, kneeling, crouching, stooping, and running.
  • A data driven process utilizing digital measurement tools to capture precise and defensible physical demands, force requirements, and postural factors.

  • Certified Ergonomists complete the onsite analysis accounting for shift variances, seasonal duties, and unique company specific job task duties.
  • Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) involvement to ensure buy-in and accurate job task performance.
  • Documentation of equipment and tools used in job tasks.
  • Identification of “best practices” that can be shared between sites of a client with multiple locations or “sister companies”.
  • Education and “hands on” demonstrations provided to workers during PDA/JTA designed to assist in injury prevention.
